Two Elderly Dudes Escaped a Nursing Home and Went to a Heavy Metal Concert

When one thinks about a man in the late decade of life, he may envision an elderly person before the TV, strolling with the house shoes, holding a stick, or perhaps sitting on the entryway patio playing with the nephews.

However, I trust nobody has envisioned a man on an overwhelming metal show. All things considered, two German seniors chose they needed to invest their valuable energy in such an occasion. In the rustic region of Dithmarscher, Germany, two elderly men got a plan to escape from their nursing home and go to a substantial metal music concert.

The yearly Wacken Open Air music concert occurred in Hamburg, around a 25-mile trek from their nursing home, and is viewed as one of the biggest overwhelming metal concerts around the world. It frequently includes extremely famous groups like Cannibal Corpse, Danzig, Death By Sorry, and Judas Priest.

These two men joined in a group of  more than 75,000 other heavy metal fans for the four-day concert.

As indicated by the Washington Post:

“Diminish Berndt, a representative for the Itzehoe police division, said the two men were thought to have advanced toward the concert by foot and public transport, however it is a mistery how they arroved in Wacken and how much time they spent at the concert.”

It is for sure they had a great time there, however the people that took care of them at the center saw their absence and called the police. At 3 am, experts found the seniors, a little dazed and disoriented.

Dwindle Berndt, a representative for the Itzehoe police division, reported:

“They were then taken to the medicinal tent on the concert site and were sent back by taxi at around 6:30 am. We needed to disclose to them why they needed to return home – yet at last, they returned voluntarily.”

Police representative Merle Neufeld told open supporter Norddeutscher Rundfunk:

“They clearly enjoyed the metal concert. The home care immediately arranged an arrival transport after picked them.”

Regardless of these two, this festival is frequently visited by various senior residents, as this careless experience reignites a fire in their spirits and leaves phenomenal memories that will remain throughout their lives.
